{"id":182,"date":"2014-05-08T19:31:27","date_gmt":"2014-05-09T02:31:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/belegaer.com\/blog\/?p=182"},"modified":"2014-05-08T19:31:27","modified_gmt":"2014-05-09T02:31:27","slug":"gluten-free-devils-food-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/belegaer.com\/blog\/?p=182","title":{"rendered":"Gluten-Free Devil&#8217;s Food Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This can be used to make a cake, or to make baked chocolate doughnuts, if you use an appropriate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B008DS0U8I\">pan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Dry Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">120g Almond flour<br \/>\n2T \/ 20g Coconut Flour<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Cocoa<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp Baking Soda<br \/>\nThe sweetening equivalent of 1 cup of sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Liquid Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">225g Buttermilk<br \/>\n2 large eggs<br \/>\n30g Melted Unsalted Butter or Ghee<br \/>\n1 tsp Almond extract<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 if you are using a convection oven).<\/p>\n<p>Spray\u00a0your baking pan with olive oil.<\/p>\n<p>Combine dry ingredients and blend well.<\/p>\n<p>Combine all wet ingredients except the butter, and mix well. Then add the<br \/>\nmelted butter and mix.<\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients into a batter, and pour or spoon into the pan or pans.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for 30 minutes.
